Deleting your KlippApp account
This page explains how to request deletion of your KlippApp account
(developer: EMM Media) and what happens to your data.
Delete your account inside the app
The fastest way is directly in KlippApp:
- Open KlippApp and sign in
- Go to the Profile tab
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm when asked
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in, email info@emm-media.com from the email address on your account with the
subject "Delete my KlippApp account". We verify the request and delete the account,
normally within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and login details
- Your profile information (name, email, and phone or city if you added them)
- Your hair records, including photos and videos
- Your bookings and drop-in notices
- Your saved favourites and notifications
- For shop accounts: the shop profile, staff list, and gallery uploads
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records: for shops and professionals who have paid, our payment
processor Stripe retains transaction records for the period required by accounting and tax
law (normally 7 years). These records contain billing details, not your app content.
- Content created for others: if a barber uploaded a photo to the public
inspiration gallery, that gallery item may remain visible, as it belongs to the shop's
portfolio rather than to a customer profile.
- Nothing else is retained. Backups containing deleted data are cycled out within 30 days.
